It’s no secret that collaborating with educators is the key to CLASS coaching success. CLASS 1:1 Video Coaching is a comprehensive certification program designed to build coaches’ abilities in using a practice-based framework to build positive relationships and drive improvements with the educators they serve.

In the CLASS 1:1 Video Coaching Program, coaches will:

  • Build competencies in CLASS-based coaching during a three-day training
  • Learn about a structured, research-proven coaching framework
  • Explore strategies for common coaching challenges and for building strong relationships
  • Practice what they learn within their own organization

Across the 10-month program, coaches will practice their skills within their own organization and:

  • Support educators in uploading and analyzing videos of their own classroom practices
  • Develop collaborative relationships with educators they support
  • Increase educator understanding and ability to integrate CLASS concepts into daily practices

Start the Credentialing Journey

CLASS 1:1 Video Coaching is a 10-month program that offers comprehensive training, learning, and support to build coaches’ ability in reliably using the practice-based coaching model. Across the program, coaches will receive comprehensive support from Teachstone, including a facilitated training, monthly support calls, access to CLASS resources, and more.

To become a Certified CLASS 1:1 Video Coach, coaches need to:

  • Maintain their CLASS Observer certification
  • Complete a three-day, facilitated coach training and demonstrate understanding of coaching competencies
  • Conduct a minimum of 10 coaching cycles, using classroom video footage, with at least 2 educators
  • Engage in ongoing learning and support calls with the Teachstone facilitator
