Develop Proficiency - CLASS Video CoachingWho Should Participate
Infant/Toddler or Pre-K classroom teams or individual teachers open to recording and sharing their classroom activities with a coach. CLASS Video Coaching is great for teachers and classroom teams who want to improve their day-to-day interactions in the classroom.
Training Summary
Teachers will:
- Increase awareness of classroom practices to improve child outcomes
- Develop collaborative relationships with coaches, who will provide individualized, regular feedback
- Build skills, insights, and concrete strategies for applying CLASS concepts to daily teaching practice
- Analyze their day-to-day interactions with children via video recordings
Participants receive:
- Personalized coaching
- A handbook
- Online resources
Time Commitment
- Online coaching via myTeachstone CLASS Learning Resources – 20 minutes every other week for approximately 10 months
- Release time away from duties with students for a one hour conference every other week
Support Provided from Leadership
- Release time and computer access to utilize CLASS Learning Resources provided by coach – 20 minutes every other week
- Release time away from duties with students for a one hour conference every other week
