CLASS Group Coaching, a year-long coaching and teacher professional development program, is designed to help organizations expand and build on CLASS knowledge through community learning.
In CLASS Group Coaching, coaches will:
- Build competencies in CLASS-based coaching during a three-day training
- Learn a CLASS Group Coaching Model designed to support educator outcomes
- Receive comprehensive support and feedback to improve coaching skills
- Lead small group coaching sessions, focused on specific learning outcomes
Across the program, coaches will practice their skills within their own organization and:
- Support educators in-depth exploration of CLASS dimensions
- Lead effective small group workshops and provide CLASS-based feedback to educators
- Promote educators’ ongoing learning with online resources in between coaching sessions

Become the Expert
Serve as the CLASS expert in your organization with the CLASS Group Coach certification. Through the use of real classroom videos, a proven coaching framework, and skill-based training coaches will deliver small group sessions focused on specific CLASS domains, to support educators in improving their daily interactions with children.
To become a Certified CLASS Group Coach, coaches need to:
- Maintain their CLASS Observer certification
- Complete a three-day, facilitated CLASS Group Coaching training
- Submit videos delivering CLASS Group Coaching sessions to educators within their program and meet quality standards
