Let us help you meet the goals of Florida’s Build a World Class Workforce Initiatives, funded through the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act. Each section below outlines the solutions offered by Teachstone that will meet the requirements for each pathway.

Trainings for Pre-K Educators

CLASS Foundations for Teachers is designed to help teachers become oriented to the power of meaningful interactions. Educators will learn how interactions are a core factor that supports children’s development and learning, what the CLASS framework is, and how to focus on meaningful interactions. Pre-K educators must take all four courses to meet the requirements. 21 Hours / 2.1 CEUs

myTeachstone Learn-Abouts includes online video examples to assist educators in learning about specific dimensions. Participants must take all 10 courses listed in that age level to meet the requirements. 2.5 hours / 0.25 CEUs

CLASS Primer for Teachers

CLASS Primer for Teachers provides the foundational knowledge to energize staff around your CLASS implementation and journey. It offers digestible content designed to increase understanding of effective interactions, reflect on current teaching practices, and learn about the CLASS tool, and your program’s CLASS implementation.

Thinking & Thriving: Interactions for Early Learning

Thinking & Thriving: Interactions for Early Learning is a half-day, virtual, facilitated training for infant and toddler teachers to learn about the cognitive and language development of our youngest learners and how best to support that development through the proven power of interactions.
3.75 hours / 0.4 CEUs.

CLASS Support Kits (with Transfer-to-Practice Webinars)

CLASS Support Kits (with Transfer-to-Practice Webinars) includes reusable guidebooks to promote he effective use of the quality materials, and a workshop style learning opportunity designed to orient teachers to the materials, build confidence in implementation, and support utilization of best practices. With support from a CLASS specialist, teachers will practice planning and using the materials to build ability to apply strategies beyond the included guidance.

Intro to CLASS

Intro to CLASS is designed to help participants learn about effective teacher-child interactions and the ways these interactions help children learn. Your instructor will provide an overview of the CLASS tool and its domains and dimensions. Training will include video examples for each dimension as well as activities to engage participants.

Building Community with Interactions

Educators’ interactions with families, colleagues, and their broader professional communities help set the stage for their interactions with children. In this course you will connect the Classroom Assessment Scoring System® (CLASS®) framework with a focus on family engagement and professionalism. You will discover how to create impactful relationships and build a community through the power of interactions.

A CLASS Primer for Leaders 

Designed with a busy leader in mind, CLASS Primer for Leaders is a two-hour online course developed to support leaders in understanding the power of CLASS, and in planning and leading CLASS implementation. This training is 2 hours / 0.2 CEUs.

To meet the requirements of the Upskill Directors pathway, ELDs must complete this course in addition to a selection of the courses below to meet the 27-hours required.

This structured group coaching model immerses teachers in CLASS professional development that’s been proven to change teaching behaviors. By creating an in-house CLASS coach to deliver this face-to-face program to teachers, programs help teachers develop awareness and enact change in the classroom.

Instructional Support Essentials Training for Teachers

Build your knowledge of Instructional Support indicators and dimensions—and understand why they matter. Watch real classroom footage illustrating effective interactions and be able to apply the CLASS lens to your own practice.

Instructional Support Strategies Training for Coaches

Instructional Support Strategies helps coaches generate strategies for increasing their teachers’ effectiveness in the Instructional Support domain, and helps them integrate these strategies into their professional development work with teachers.
