Trainer recertification is inclusive of both your recertification as an observer and as a trainer. You may purchase Trainer Recertification testing at any time, for one or more people, by visiting the Teachstone store and purchasing recertification product keys.
Note: recertification product keys may only be activated by users who are eligible to take the test. Additionally, a link to purchase and/or activate your trainer recertification test will appear in your myTeachstone account 8 weeks prior to the expiration of your current certification; you will also receive an email reminder when it is time to recertify.

CLASS Affiliate Trainer certification is valid for one year from the date you complete the Train-the-Trainer program. Annual trainer recertification is required to maintain Certified CLASS Affiliate Trainer status.
Check your trainer certification status by logging in to your myTeachstone account and clicking on the Certifications tile on your dashboard.
To recertify, trainers must complete observer recertification by passing the CLASS Reliability Test, as well as successfully completing a knowledge test. Passing the Trainer Knowledge Test signifies the ability to help trainees correctly sort behaviors.
The format of the Trainer Knowledge Test is very similar to that of the Emotional Support and Classroom Organization domain sorting activities conducted in the CLASS Observation Training. To prepare for this test, trainers should carefully review the detailed descriptions in the CLASS manual, paying particular attention to the nuances of the tool.
